Fans Calls Out Davido for Leaving Nigeria Before Presidential Elections

Some of Davido‘s fans are up in arms because the pop star singer has jetted out of the country for a concert.
The 22 year old took to Instagram to share pictures of him and his crew flying to the Kenyan capital of Nairobi via a private jet for a concert that he is headlining today.
This means that he will miss the Presidential elections holding today March 28.
Some of his fans however took to the photo sharing site to call him out for flying out of the country a day before the elections.
Here are some of the comments:
“Just like most artiste fixing shows within election period so as not to be in the country during that time. We see una moves o. Later they will say they r Nigerians who love their country.”
“F**k boy… U don collect money from both parties”
“Davido as a citizen of Nigeria you have to vote to avoid complain”
“Safe trip luv,u ontop of d world aiidy..Buh u must cum bak to vote oo”
Others came to his defense saying,
“I’m sure this show was planned way before the elections was pushed. And I already have a ticket so welcome Davido.”
“Most of u guys asking him to vote don’t even hv a PVC or probably haven’t registered yet,so pls guys leave him alone he has his life 2 live n u hv urz”
“Sigh… You lot are out here again spilling so much hate and hypocrisy. It’s a personal decision to vote. A right but not a must. Maybe he doesn’t want to cast a vote between a failed president and a former dictator. Maybe he knows something you all don’t. Young man is just trying to live the life that can end anytime. Celebrities like  Basketmouth, Olamide and Wizkid also faced a lot of criticism when they were set to perform in London on February 14, 2015, which was the initial date for the general elcections until it was moved ot March 28, 2015.
As Davido jets off to Kenya, Banky W whose birthday is today landed in Nigeria tweeting that he is back in time to vote.
